With Le Specs having undergone a major comeback in 2006, credited as being the sunglass brand du jour for any discerning fashionista, there is much anticipation awaiting the new 2007 collection.
For anyone born prior to 1985, Le Specs would have been a household name. At the height of its powers, Le Specs became synonymous with all things ‘Euro Chic’. Utilising its distinctive red, white and blue French flag logo and drop-dead sexy advertising, Le Specs commanded a powerful media presence in the 80’s, enjoying an unprecedented level of brand recognition. The Le Specs name has garnered the same cult following that it did in the 80s not only as the must-have eyewear accessory, but as a true trend-setter in the wider fashion industry.

The 2007 Le Specs collection is retrospective of the original 80’s frames as well as more contemporary styles reigniting its signature trend-setting pace. Wayfarers, Plastic Aviators, Flat lens variations, and Annie Hall styles are signature to the collection with the colour palette of pastel pinks and yellows, sitting alongside fluoro blue, pinks and purples. New to this years collection are detailed temples and arms in 80s reference prints with frames for both men and women. All frames are fitted with either polarised or acrylic lenses.

Le Specs has received an astounding amount of editorial and Press since its launch in July. Publications such as Marie Claire, Russh, Madison, Shop Til You Drop, Cosmopolitan, Cleo, Sunday Fashion supplements Sunday Life consistently feature frames and editorial on the brand.
